Catherine earned her bachelor degree in Social Work from Calvin College in 2002. Continuing on in her education, she enrolled at Western Michigan University and graduated with her Masters in Social Work in 2005. Catherine also holds an advanced addiction counselor certification through the state of Michigan (CAAC).
Catherine’s passion lies in her believing in people and the healing that they can achieve by looking at their past in order to make changes for their future. Catherine has worked in a variety of settings, which include outpatient services, district court, church, school, and adult residential treatment for chemical dependency. Catherine’s focus has become family of origin issues, codependency, chemical dependency, grief, trauma, and divorce recovery work with adults and children. Catherine works in group and individual settings and can work around your busy schedule.
