Alysia earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University, and one year later earned a Master of Social Work degree from Western Michigan University. Alysia currently holds a Limited Licensed Master of Social Work license, and is working on obtaining licensure as a certified advanced addiction counselor (CAAC).
Alysia has worked with individuals afflicted by mental illness, teenage girls, domestic violence survivors, as well as individuals dealing with substance abuse issues. Alysia has an array of experience with individual counseling, group facilitation, case management services, as well as bio-psychosocial assessments.
